Our Aerial Silks Skill Development Classes provide new and experienced students with a specially-developed curriculum that can transform beginners into performing aerialists! Every student starts by learning foundational basics that develop strength and body awareness in the air. This curriculum allows students to progress at their own pace.

Knots A and B and Sling
Designed for students who are new to fabrics
New students MUST start at the beginning of the month or after a Try Me Class
Begins with basic, foundational skills on the knotted silks / hammock
Builds strength and conditioning
Advances through new poses and sequences as the student gets stronger
Teaches students to climb the vertical hanging silks (no knot or hammock)
From the safety of a knot, this class prepares students to perform without the knot
Beginning Two Tails
Designed for students who have completed Knots A and B classes
Students must be able to climb to the top of the silks before they can take this class
Teaches the fundamentals of vertical hanging silks, including single and double foot locks
Introduces inversions
Intermediate and Advanced Two Tails
Student can perform an inversion in the air
Focuses on developing fabric awareness in the air and experimentation with transitions between skills
Continued movement through a curriculum of skills
Continued exploration of movement and performance styles
Fabric / Knot Most of our classes are for aerialists of all levels, and allow students working in knots to learn alongside students working on two tails. Each student works at his or her own level and pace.

Open Gym Open gym time is available for current students to practice the skills they have been taught in class. This time can be used to work on choreography and sequencing routines together. An instructor is present during open gyms for safety and technical assistance but will not be teaching any new skills.
